I was strolling around Pearl River, NY, when I passed by what used to be a Chinese Restaurant – and may still be – but the front window was papered-over and some sort of work was going on inside. But it was the outside that grabbed my attention, in particular, this little nook with the hanging sign. I thought to myself, I have paintings about the size of that sign … I wonder what it might look like to install one here?
I wonder what would happen if I actually installed a painting in a space like this? Do you think someone would take it home?
