I was down in Ocean Grove last weekend, to enjoy a day at the beach, but there was also a walking art tour of local artists taking place called “Art On The Porch.” I love the idea: over 50 artists set up their art work on the front porches of their homes, and one gets a map with all of the locations in order to walk around to see the artists and their work.
This particular photo above (and below) was from a front porch featuring the work of Nick Pazinko. There were a number of beach-inspired paintings in acrylics and oils on canvas with reclaimed beach furniture frames. But I also liked the dog painting titled “Chip” below left, and as I was looking at it, I noticed the subject himself right around the corner of the porch – it almost looks like he’s posing for the painting!
