{"id":1910,"date":"2025-07-24T19:24:41","date_gmt":"2025-07-24T19:24:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mckinneyarts.com\/blog\/?p=1910"},"modified":"2026-06-10T14:33:18","modified_gmt":"2026-06-10T14:33:18","slug":"eccolo-gelato-in-madrid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mckinneyarts.com\/blog\/eccolo-gelato-in-madrid\/","title":{"rendered":"Eccolo Gelato in Madrid"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Unfortunately, I cannot say that I ever had a chance to try any gelato at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/eccolo.gelato\/\" title=\"Eccolo Gelato\" rel=\"noopener nofollow \" target=\"_blank\">Eccolo Gelato<\/a> in Madrid, as they were always closed when I walked by, but they certainly had great street art on their pull-down metal shutter gates. I think I am often like this boy, above; daydreaming about a good scoop of ice cream or gelato.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s another art work that was on another pull-down shutter at Eccolo Gelato &#8211; in this case, a young girl is carrying a doll in one hand; a doll whose face suggests discomfort as she&#8217;s being held by an arm around her neck, as her owner &#8211; the young girl &#8211; is enjoying an ice cream cone.
