I had an enjoyable day in New York City, exploring different art gallery shows in Chelsea and finding inspiration from a number of artists. As I was walking from gallery to gallery, at one point I noticed this face on the sidewalk looking at me with a frown.
Do you see a face in the wet spot pictured above? I didn’t add, remove, or move any elements in this wet spot, I photographed it just as I saw it. I know I tend to have a knack for experiencing pareidolia, and here I am again. If you don’t see it, I’ll show a close-up with a straight photo (below left), and a quick doodle to highlight the eyes, nose, and frowning mouth that I saw as I was walking by. Now do you see it? Or am I just nuts? (I can answer that)
