Hangups II, Smush Gallery, September 8-17, 2023

Nature Indoors, curated in September, 2023.
This series of photographs by artist Mark McKinney comes from a visit to the Como Zoo Conservatory in the summer of 2007. The title reflects the fact that the “nature” was seen and captured “indoors,” resulting in a collection of images reflecting McKinney’s investigation of details perhaps not generally noticed by the casual visitor.
Water Visions in Watercolor celebrates the end of summer with a series of watercolor paintings with the theme of water or the ocean, curated in August, 2023.
All works are available for $75 each (unframed), and the installation view is from the boardwalk at North Wildwood Beach at the Jersey Shore.

Hidden in Plain View, curated in May 2018, featuring original art by Mark McKinney.
This was the first of a series of “itinerant exhibitions,” created by McKinney Arts, where the photographs show a real location, but the art seen installed in any particular location is done so virtually.
This particular location was a boarded-up storefront in South Orange, NJ, and features mosaic-like art works created by Mark McKinney in the late 1980s.
Solo Exhibition at the Glen Ridge Train Station, January 11 – February 26, 2010, featuring original paintings by Mark McKinney.
This was my first solo exhibition in many years, perhaps since college.
